The Tap Unity Plugin Debut!
A major milestone has been reached in the development of the Tap Project. The Tap Plugin is now publicly accessible through the Unity Asset Store.
This development sets the mark for the first stage of widely accepted integration and support! In 2015, Unity had reportedly over 4.5 Million developers using its engine, setting itself and Unreal Engine among the top game engines currently being used.
What does this mean?
With the publishment to the Unity Store, this provides access to over 4.5 Million developers who are searching for new, advanced and creative ways to develop games and increase retention and exposure.
In order to increase adoptability, it is important to make the integration as seamless as possible for the wider audience of developers. It must be as easy for those without blockchain experience to grasp the concept as it is for those who have it. Which is why, the latest Tap Platform update includes Developer/Publisher on-boarding.
With the updated on-boarding process, developers and publishers are able to add, integrate and set up their game onto the Tap Platform within a matter of minutes. Developers still have to undergo a verification process but this drastically cuts down on processing time, making it vital to the Tap Platform success. Allowing publishers to add and integrate their games from the platform only supports the continued ideology of decentralization.
