The Tap Project Becomes — Game X Change!
After four years of Ethereum Mainnet connectivity, The Tap Project is undergoing its biggest evolution as it makes its way to Binance Smart Chain. Despite the numerous benefits of using blockchain technology, the biggest problem with blockchain is the steep learning curve for both developers and gamers. We have been listening, working, and creating solutions for those coming into the space. Our time in the market has allowed us to focus on our offerings, and we’ve built our easy-to-use developer products to bring blockchain to the masses. Game X Change is the future of game asset exchange. It positions itself as the global protocol for the movement of assets and in-game currencies! It seeks to become one of the largest blockchain gaming technology solution providers with Play and Earn Game SDK Integration, NFT marketplace (incl. APIs), In-game Currency Networks, Cross Chain NFT’s and NFT tools. This full suite of tools allows developers to innovate through the use of in-game currencies and NFT assets powered by Game X Change.
What is Game X Change
Game X Change is a service where users can move assets (virtual cash and NFTs) from one platform, game or blockchain to another in a safe and controlled way. The Game X Change utility token, $EXP (previously Tapcoin), is the native utility token for the Game X Change universe. $EXP acts as a reward, utility and payment on the platform.
Why EXP?
‘Experience Points’ or EXP is very recognizable in gaming and are gained in many RPGs as characters progress through the game and complete missions or achieve objectives. The accumulation of “Experience Points” may permit a character to acquire new abilities or improve existing ones, such as strength, magic, health and skills. EXPs may also give a character access to more areas or items. Since Game X Change is THE place for gamers, we wanted gamers to feel familiar with something that everyone knows about. In our case, we call it Experience Potions!

Swap
Holders of existing Tapcoins can look forward to swapping 1:1 ratio of $EXP on Binance Smart Chain. Users will have to send their Tapcoins to the portal in order to receive $EXP — The sent Tapcoins will be burnt. A snapshot occurred on *September 9th at 1600 PST (Edit: Snapshot occurred on September 10th at 1600 PST) to capture what the token swap price will be at launch on BSC. The price has been pegged and will launch at this price based on EMA 200 and snapshot price average.
Launch on BSC
In partnership with one of the leading decentralized exchanges, $EXP will be listed at launch on BSC NEXT WEEK! Stay tuned to find out who that decentralized exchange is!
Token Burn Event
After the listing of $EXP, there will be a massive Burn Event, as up to $1 Million USD worth of token value will be burned away from the current Market Cap. $EXP total supply will be reduced and the possibility to earn $EXP freely will be reduced.
Roadmap
One of our main focuses will be the onboarding of developers, projects and games onto Game X Change. Our goal is to make it easier for developers and projects to access the wide array of blockchain gaming technologies that we offer. In the coming months, we’ll focus on developing Market APIs in order to create a seamless experience when buying and importing assets. We are currently working on an approach to have direct in-game overlay connectivity to our marketplace. NFT interoperability through “NFT Anywhere” will give gamers and projects an opportunity to exchange their NFTs between different blockchains. This will create a new phenomenon of “playing the game no matter the chain”. With many lined up already, we anticipate onboarding several developers and projects within the coming months!
On our marketing roadmap, we’ll invest more time growing our community of users. We’ll be seeking feedback on our products and the projects we support. There will be opportunities for governance votes for AAA steam games, mobile studios and even your favourite defi or blockchain projects. We will organize NFT missions and exclusive drops with our partners later this year and will be transitioning to our dedicated Discord Server as we expand our community so stay tuned!
